Don't know if you've seen this before.

There were no witches in the Prisoner unless your are mistaken it for a Terry Pratchett TV series. Tongue Mr. Green

How could they? HOW COULD THEY?

I predict quirky charm will be replaced by endless shagging! Evil or Very Mad

I have read Wyrd Sisters but not seen it. I do recall a mix up over marital arts.

Perhaps, but I remain optimistic. Can't see there being too much sex. Shame they didn't use Portmeirion though.

The other re-make I am looking forward to this year is Reggie Perrin

It's an old gripe of mine that it would be nice if somebody took something bad and made it better instead of taking something superb and making a poor cousin.
Case in point being the Robert Wise 'The Haunting' versus the Jan de Bont 'The Haunting'

However, I will allow that the remake of Battlestar Gallactica is superb, so maybe we'll be lucky with The Prisoner.

IT'S AMERICAN so what more can you expect when they are making a series like the Prisoner.

Well, it is part British too...

& yes Nurse, I agree with you in the main.
Personally I'd like to see more good original stuff. But to be fair I watch very little TV these days so I'd probably only miss it anyway.

At least I'i make the effort to actually try and watch The Prisoner, Reggie Perrin, Red Dwarf (though that's not really a remake is it)

Might have been a lot different if the Beeb had remade it,but it will have a lot to live up to equal the original hope they pick someone good to play number six.

He'll be in Outlander when it's released in a couple of weeks.
